About Us

Please let us introduce you to the delicious and distinctive flavours and aromas of coffee and xocolat (chocolate) from the different regions of Guatemala.  At the same time you can learn about the Mayan people who grow the coffee, their traditions, costumes, cultures and language. The Mayan descendents of Guatemala have had a continuous 500 years of colonisation and exploitation which has left them in a situation of extreme poverty. With your help we can ensure that their dignity, culture and traditions can be preserved.

We buy direct from small farming cooperatives from the different regions of Guatemala ensuring that they get a fair price. A percentage of every purchase that you make is also donated to the Social Justice Program sponsored by our company. With your support and consumption either by donation or purchase we provide the education programs to give the Mayans the necessary tools to shake off the status quo of poverty and disempowerment and help them regain their own destiny.

You can purchase our coffees, xocolats and drinking xocolats online from the Coffee shop or our stalls at various markets.

If you are in Sydney please visit us at our  Mayan Coffee and Xocolate Cafe located at 32 Danks Street, Waterloo. Let us all be Non Colonialistic.
