Mayan Scholarships and Gift Vouchers

Please log into our web site and make your donation thru our secure web site through - Internet Coffee Shop
In Quiché, Guatemala, more than 400,000 people live in poverty, which motivates us to seek all the help we can to let our training courses reach beyond the minority that can pay for them. Since 2004, we have collected over $80,000 for scholarships, which have helped transform the lives of more than 1500 people. New scholarships are assigned each quarter to our students. The subjects include information technology, English, micro-business skills, and K’iche’ courses. In addition to the direct impact each donation has in the life of a student, our scholarship program generates matching funds from foundations and governmental agencies.
We will organise for your credit card to be debited (we have a secure card encrypted site) with $US and the card reference will be from Asociacion Ajbatz Enlace Quiche for the amount you specify and we will send you a receipt and a gift card in the mail to the person to whom you would like to make the gift for.
Here are some examples of the impact your donation will have:

US$30.00 motivates a child to stay in school after learning about educational computing and Internet.

US$60.00 provides a micro-entrepreneur with technology skills to improve his or her business.

US$120.00 makes a youth more competitive in and out of school through academic support, leadership and entrepreneurial training, and community projects.
